Latissha has over 8 years of experience as a foster parent. She has help raise children from as young as 3 days old to 18 years old. Over her time as a foster parent she had children show up with little to nothing. The children arrived with a trash bag full of belongings. Some of these clothes may fit, but more than not they don’t and are unusable. How do you welcome a child into your home whom have dealt with traumatic events. She wondered what could she do to help?
That is when she and fellow foster parent decided to start Joys of Genesis. Her experience at a nonprofit for over 10 years has given her the confidence in taking on the steps for a business. In doing so she has managed multi-million dollar grants. Her experience as a Program Manger has enhanced her Project Management Skills. Ms Clark has successfully completed Grant Funded projects.
