With a formal education in Public Administration and a work history in all fields children it was a natural progression to become a foster parent. After years of working in the system and several children later I saw a pattern that I wanted to end. Children coming into care with trash bags. After expressing my frustrations with other foster parents, I found that there were several areas that needed to change and that was the birth of Joys of Genesis. My vision is to make sure that no foster child goes into the system without the essentials.
